New BlueMedicare Plans to Include Dental Allowance
Florida Blue is preparing to introduce new Medicare Advantage (MA) allowance plans, effective January 1, 2024, that will include significant allowances for dental services. Members will be required to see a dentist in the MA network in order to receive covered services.
The plans will be offered in select counties. Two of the plans, BlueMedicare Preferred and BlueMedicare Premier, will also include a new flex benefit. The chart below lists the annual dental allowance and flex benefit amounts offered by each plan and the counties where each plan will be available.

These allowances increase the ability of MA members to utilize a wide range of essential dental services offered by our participating providers that can help improve their oral and overall health outcomes.
