COVID-19 and Your Dental Care

During these uncertain times, we want you to know that your health remains our top priority. We’re still making sure that you can continue to have access to essential dental care.

Safe care at your dental office

Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, your dentist was required to enforce strict cleanliness practices. With COVID-19, additional safety precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were put in place. Dental offices have a lot of experience maintaining a clean, safe environment, so you can feel good about visiting, even now. Remember, going to your dentist for regular exams and cleanings is important to reduce the risk of bigger problems down the road. Here are six reasons why it’s important to see your dentist.

Even with good preventive care, dental problems can still happen. So, our teledentistry benefit provides you with virtual dental assistance if an emergency arises and you’re not able or not yet comfortable going to your dentist. All of our participating dentists are required to provide emergency services to patients, so please contact your dentist if you have a dental emergency.

This service is provided at no cost to our members when visiting an in-network dentist. We want to make sure that you and your family continue to have access to essential dental care.

Our Customer Service team is standing by ready to help you if you have questions or concerns at 888-223-4892. If you don’t currently have a dentist, you can quickly find one near you in our online directory.
